“To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift”
– Steve Prefontaine
Who’s that person you never met but was larger than life and influenced you growing up? For Adam, it was Steve Prefontaine who’s known throughout running circles simply as Pre. He was an American distance runner and iconic trailblazer for many reasons. With much to admire between seven different American records and competing in the 1972 Olympics, it was his mindset that Adam admired the most. Part of that mindset was a simple concept that sits at Adam’s core and Pre said it ‘best’…
“To give anything less than your best
is to sacrifice the gift.“
