COACHING
Adam’s summer track coach was a critical influence in his young life. Upon initial interaction, he observed Adam selling himself short, which was regularly criticized. Adam eventually responded with increased faith and an attitude of boundless potential. No longer was he just competing – but racing to win! Personal records were set. Adam finally understood the key was engaging his mind more than his body. That realization was a tremendous gift and turning point in his life. The fervent message his coach delivered was the genesis of that gift. Years later, upon Adam’s Naval Academy graduation and selection to Navy SEAL training, his coach sent him the card pictured above. As written, “all you have done are the reasons I have the greatest job in the world”. Adam seeks to pay it forward which is why he’s passionate about coaching today.
Hatmada Coaching is not consulting. Coaches are a part of the team and consequently have an emotional connection to the team’s success. Hatmada Coaching is anchored in a continuous three-phase process;
- DISCOVERY – look, listen, & feel to understand culture and what is ‘behind the scenes’
- COACHING – thought-provoking workshops to experiential lessons
- FOCUS – what happens when the coaches leave; includes a customized accountability tool
Our methodology aims to develop a growth mindset with our teammates, which is the catalyst to a cultural shift, enabling our team to surpass today’s status quo. Metrics are captured throughout all phases to both inform our system and discipline our process. We focus on continually improving the team approach. Outcomes are simply a measuring stick of our progress – not our focus.
Hatmada coaches are fully committed and seeking to invest in teams that are comfortable to reciprocate that commitment. This is not an advertisement, but more-so ‘consent’ for this relationship you voluntarily choose to enter. Change is never easy. So by definition, this program will be hard.
We’re passionate to help create high performance teams that live by their thriving culture. We want people and teams comfortable being uncomfortable with raw feedback and transparency. The information collected is not to be weaponized. Rather, it is for the development and betterment of our teammates! This creates growth and value across the enterprise, as well as personally.
While most of Hatmada’s coaching staff has a military background, everyone has transitioned to other fields. Hatmada coaches offers an impressive array of diversity through different industries and across the leadership spectrum.
